General Terms and Conditions

Registration

For any riding technique or skill courses, tours, guiding, events and private coaching, here referred as activity, the following terms and conditions apply:

When a Participant registers and BikeFlow confirms the registration by email, SMS, etc., a contract is formed between the Participant and BikeFlow. The contract includes the registration details and any clarifications in the confirmation message. These terms and conditions apply without a signature. By registering the Participant confirm they are healthy and fit enough to take part of the activity.

Payment

Payment for activities can be made using various online and offline methods (credit card, PayPal, invoice, etc.) when registering. If paying by invoice or cash, payment must be made within 10 days of receipt.

Cancellation by Participant

The participant can cancel by writing a message to BikeFlow by email, SMS, etc. The cancellation takes effect when BikeFlow receives the written message. The registration fee is fully refundable if the cancellation is made at least one hour before the scheduled start time of the activity. If a participant cancels after the activity has started, there is no refund.

Cancellation by BikeFlow

BikeFlow can cancel an activity due to bad weather, government actions, force majeure, or safety reasons. In such cases, participants will be fully refunded. There is no minimum number of participants for the activities offered.

BikeFlow can change or cancel the activity at any time after it has started. No refund will be given if the tour is changed or canceled after it has started.

Insurance

Insurance is the Participant's responsibility. BikeFlow recommends participants to have comprehensive accident and health insurance for the booked activity.

Liability

Participants take part in any activity offered by BikeFlow at their own risk and responsibility. BikeFlow is only liable for gross negligence and intentional misconduct. Liability for light and medium negligence is excluded. Participants must meet the special requirements of the course description in terms of fitness, riding technique, bike equipment, and appropriate clothing. Helmets are mandatory for all riding activities. Participants are responsible for using well-maintained bikes. BikeFlow is not liable for personal and property damage caused by a bike in poor condition.

Media Usage Consent

BikeFlow can use photos and videos taken on the day of the activity for its own purposes, including print products, website, galleries, and social media channels. Participants may be recognizable and agree without compensation.

Participant Feedback to BikeFlow

Participants agree to the publication of texts from any written feedback received.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies to disputes arising from this contract. The jurisdiction is Bülach, unless mandatory legal provisions specify otherwise.
